I work for myself. I have a certain standard set for myself. My parents spent a lot sending us to private schools and I had a college scholarship. I don't want them to think I did nothing with my education. I work to someday prove to my overly critical mother that though my beliefs are different, I am smart and determined enough to make something of myself. I like to call and tell her when I bought a new car or my own house. I like to tell her about my $1000 dog or that my stunt motorcyclist boyfriend and I woke up at 1pm and I may start working around 4pm just when she's getting ready to go home from the office. I work to prove that I can work at home, survive and still have what I want without the constrictions of the "working man" who gets up, fights traffic, works all day and comes home unfulfilled. I work so that I can buy a villa in mexico, have a house keeper and two hummers, two four wheelers and two crotch rockets in the driveway for us to use when we want to escape our fortress and computers next to the pool. ;-)
I work to make it to the next level.
I work to buy a house and have a R1 in the driveway
I work for my future...retirement.
I work because it gives me focus in my life, I actually enjoy 80% of my job, I enjoy the people I work for and thus far, the people I've met and continue to meet in this industry. Yeah, the money doesn't hurt either.

I work so when i get out of school i'll have enough money to start a bigger, better, more stable business.
What i'm doing right now is just a tiny fraction of effort between mid-terms, classes and finals. I'm not big on spending so i'm just placing money safely til the real estate market in MTL crashes. (right now it's ridiculous, can't wait to see all those fuckers going bankrupt and selling their property for a fraction of their value muahahahaha) Maybe when i get enough i'll buy that 350Z i've been dreaming about (I,ll have to have at least twice as much stored for tougher days) so maybe this summer if things still go well |
