I have a siamese cat now, i actually have 2 siamese cats but one is at another house.

Looking to add another exotic breed of cat to my family :)

Something really fluffy, like you see on the "Royale" commercials for toilet paper! hehe

i'd get one of the ones in a jar. they can't do your head in to much then. just put a cloth over the jar and forget about it.

Just out of curiosity how much does a cat cost. Like from a pet store. Are they like dogs costing $2K? I was thinking of getting one

You have to pay for the neuter or spay which is like 50 bucks or something ..but the cat is free at a shelter...Depends on the make of the cat at a store but they range in price

I don't know if you're single or not, but single men who have cats as pets are highly suspect and have very questionable parentage.

If you adopt, its usually about 90 bucks for a kitten and 50 for a regular cat - but alot of times you have to bring a pre-paid receipt for spaying or neutering. Exotic purebreds can get expensive though, 600 dollars on up for kittens.

why do people go to pet stores and pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for cats then, if then can get a good deal at the shelter

I have a show quality persian that I got from a breeder. She cost me 600 and got her when she was about 12 weeks old.

i usualy buy from breeders for both dogs and cats...

cdsmith, i don't live in a trailer like you i have a penthouse downtown vancouver so i am not allowed dogs :) they would fuck up my burber carpet anyways! (dogs)

Have you pets spayed or neutered.

I have two cats.... one is a Maine Coon (very large and fluffy breed) and a Bengal (mixed with Tabby). My Bengal is the smartest cat I ever had.

Both of them were rescue animals. :)

if you want fluffy, get a persian.

if you also like siamese markings, get a himalayan (persian/siamese mix).

they are very sweet, super affectionate cats.

I go with Vanilla, get yourself a "Main Koon" fantastic cats

I would never adopt a cat from the humane society.

I tried to adopt one once, and they want you to do all this paperwork, all this and that, blah blah blah, for a cat
i mean i know they want them to go to good homes, but shit itsnot like i look like some trailerpark trash that will abuse the fucker like cdsmith :)

If I were in the market for a cat, Id hit up the local humane society (even though those places make me cry).

If you dont want to go that route I think these are cool as hell, thogh the website sucks.
