Anyone here save their first affiliate checks?
 

Kinda like saving your first sale's dollar (if you ran an offline business).

My first check was for $25 from EZ-Green.

My first check was a few hundred from XPics. I ran to the bank and cashed it right away :thumbsup

Nope! I was starving for the cash back then and I wasn't sure I'd be doing it for much longer. Apparently I was wrong and I'm still here!

My first check was from an dating site. Forgot what it was called but anyways it was about $60ish. Back in those days there were alot of scam sponsors, so I was surprised to receive that check. After that the company went bankrupt or something. Although my largest check was from Xpics.

Same here. I just posted EZ-green's html code to a free (non adult hehehe this was back in 1999) site as a whim. Check came....

Our first check was from Validate in 1996 I think and it was for $0.23 and they mailed it to Australia. It cost them a buck to send the check. It would have cost us $7 to cash it in Australia so we filed it.

My first two checks came the same day, one from amateur pages and the other from ultracash. That was so long ago. Still using amateur pages :thumbsup

Yeah, Amateurpages was among my first sponsors that actually paid...

I loved EZ Green! I ran a Tyra Banks tribute site on Tripod. I had Xpics banners all over it making a few hundred a month.

I started pushing EZ Green right after Xpics shut down. I had their remote boxes up when they were paying 50 cents a join. Then they raised it to 80 cents. My last EZ Green check paid for my prom :)

I actually think I do have my first check in a box somewhere. I had a handful of checks from Seth and IEG for $0.03 to $0.20 that I never cashed.

My first was for US$900 and I was broke back in 1997 so I couldn't exactly keep that. my 2nd was $3000 and I wasn't going to keep that either. Ohh the good old boom time on the net. Selling porn was like selling Icecreams on a hot day.

I had several IEG checks for pennies. What was up with those? I'm pretty sure I never signed up with them.

I think mine was from topbucks, from thier 12cent perclick program

Porncash was my first. The one with the eyeball at the bottom. Didn't save it but i miss those checks.

Hah, I have the stub...does that count? I was dirt poor when I got my first check, some miniscule amount not even worth remembering - from Adult Platinum I believe. It was enough to buy a couple bags full of top ramen, some gatorade, and a bottle of pepto bismol...all I needed back then :Graucho

I cashed my first check right away because I didn't even trust that it would go through (I trust no one).

I did get in the habit of not cashing checks for a while. I had an assload of Click Cash checks sitting around because I was to busy to go to the bank. Right around that time they started bouncing checks. Needless to say I hold nothing for more then a week now.
