finally, the ultimate system culminates
well, almost.... it's in the final stages.
Got my LAN all tweaked exactly the way it needs to be finally.... and got the main brain system now fully portable, even with 600 gigs of content. this is where it gets good.... so, the studio is on the lower level: http://www.ampiezza.com/stuff/ampstudio.jpg and the audio system is on the upper level: http://www.ampiezza.com/stuff/rack001.jpg and the whole works is on a totally wireless LAN, and completely controlled by the master system, which, as I mentioned, is now fully portable. So what this means is, I can go anywhere in the house and not only control every other system from a laptop, but also the audio rack. The only things I'm missing at this stage is some good outdoor/weather resistant speakers, wire up the sub-room/multi-room system in the rack, some nice new deck furniture with a big sun umbrella, and a cold Mai Tai, and baby.... I'm workin' on the deck lookin' at the ocean. :Graucho anyone got a line on a good outdoor speaker brand? :glugglug |
Looks nice... but I bet you're still using Windows.

Winamp just seems to be too much overhead. Course that could've been the skin I was using too.... but oh well... change is good! :) |
