what are they worth compared to .com domains?

someone was here selling pussy.ca and nude.ca last week and people were saying they sucked.

Yep. There's a few conditions. You can probably lie very easily.
As far as I know, the only check done is when you register the domain. They make you check a box if you're a Canadian citizen, resident, business, etc.

I'm Canadian though, so it's all good.
