If I buy memory from the USA, will it work in a UK desktop?
Hardware is so expensive in the UK, $180-200 for 512mb memory.
I need 2 of the following: 3.3v 168pin 133Mhz SDRAM unbuffered single sided or double sided DIMMs Any advice please? How much would you expect to pay for such hardware in the USA? |
I couldn't tell you how much but I could tell you $180-200 (if you did mean dollars) is pretty good price for sdram at 512mb.
|
133mhz? that shit is slow for sdram.
|
I think the price of Sdram has gone up because it's harder to find now.

IDinternet I don't know where you get your hardware from but you are being ripped off.
1GB PC3200 Dual Channel Kit £117 512MB PC3200 £57 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...inMOS_147.html OCUK are the best hardware supplier in the UK along with dabs.com |
I wouldn't trust them Yanks, they are liable to put some devil spyware or something in it.

For hardware I usually look at ebuyer, scan or dabs. However, they all have similar prices for memory. |
