This solidifies my thinking about society.

With American Idol and the internet, everyone and his brother thinks he can make it big in the music business. Good to dream, but so many people put all their hopes and dreams into it...convince themselves they will make it and put their whole lifes hope into knowing they will make money doing it.

Realize there are 100,000 others just like you that think they will be the next big thing. So do yourself a favor, and do this as a hobby..and learn something that you can use to make a future for yourself.

hes not even that good. everyone thinks "oh hes so good hes going to get signed". 99% of the time record labels dont sign people just on how good they are. he needs to prove to them he can sell albums. have him sell a lot of albums independantly and get small following and then you can say you think hes going to get signed.
