Need help setting up an Unreal Game server - anybody?
 

Im trying to run a map for Unreal part 1...i used to run a server all the time years ago when the game came out.
It connects to the master server (gamespy) and i have uplink turned on but still it only shows up as a lan game...

Anybody know why it doesnt go public?

Unreal part one is best game ever!

i installed again yesterday after 2 years or so and im totally addicted again. Im just dying to run my own server but it jsut wont put me in the server list, just keeps on saying i run a lan game.

I believe most unreal games have the same server settings so there has to be someone who can help me.

Unreal part one is cool, one of the best ever! I haven't played it for a year now, I used to have my own server running but that was like 2 years ago. I'll check if I can get it to work here

make an in-game server (no gamespy and shit)
always works for me.

I play that game too. Just instagib :)

How do i do that? I remember back i nthe days i just turned uplink on and launched the ded. server with a click of the button...
