I wish he could have waited a few years (although I don't think I'll have the patience for this show in that much time). Kid's got a voice, but I don't think he has the experience to back it up. I do hope he proves me wrong.

I thought you were talking about John Steven the lead singer to INXS replaced Michael Hutchence he is from another much loved Aussie band Noiseworks. Well he is pretty cool seems even crusty Rod Stewart can sing Sinatra style numbers no great talent there just shows anyone that can sing a note and keep the time can pull it off.

So did I, even tho his name is Jon Stevens (not John). I have Noiseworks Greatest on CD, he has a powerhouse voice and would blow that Idol guy off the stage! :thumbsup
