Good US jobs data. Yay!

"Non-farm payrolls climbed 308,000 in March, the Labor Department said, the biggest gain since April 2000 and well above the 103,000 rise expected on Wall Street."

This is very good news for Bush, but more important good news for the US economy, and hopefully me (USD holder) :)

just hope next month the dont revise it down again

Yes, but they are only saying jobs are up. No mention of how many of those are people that had to take a job way below there previous pay rate just to stay alive. Figures don't tell the whole story.

Get ready for the media to be used as a puppet again to brainwash you into voting for Bush.

well they revised jan and feb upwards it seems.

All the data has been pointing to job growth but it hasn't eventuated. This data is long overdue, and it's a very important confirmation of the recovery.

1. I'm probably one of the most anti-Bush people on this msgboard :-).

2. Look at my location, I can't vote

Meanwhile back in reality, something bush has no clue about...

An announcement of a Michigan School District laying OFF 3200 employees... ONE District laying off Thirty Two Hundred - Three Thousand Two Hundred

The list goes on... our local largest district is not rehiring etc but so far hasn't resorted to layoffs. Of course parents are more and more having to pay for ANY and all extra-curricular activities. Even basic art supplies are in low supply. IF a school has comps, they are p1's for the most part. Some have a little better puters, can we say donations? (usually they are donated)

Small towns are laying off Police AND Firefighters or just not rehiring, and they are usually understaffed as is. So much so that even when they are at 'full strength' the neighboring fire depts most always have to help unless its a small grill fire. Umm, travel time from one small town to another is not in a few minutes but 20-30-40 minutes. So if you catch fire... just grab the cat and get the car back so you have somewhere to sleep.

The problem with listening to the job related BS is they do NOT include Public Employees in the mix. Add those jobs in and you'd see the truth thru the Real Worlds eyes. Ask any Republican, they will tell you! Oh wait, NO they won't.

Jobs are in a DISMAL State at best. :(

Yes for God's sake let's not bring the truth into any of this.

Unemployment is lower right now than the Average unemployment for the 70's, 80's and the 90's.

who's brainwashed?
