Head like a hole
black as your soul
I'd rather die
than give you control

Bow down before the one you serve
You're going to get what you deserve

NIN rocks :thumbsup

I've worn through 3 copies of the downward spiral myself.

Looking forward to the new album, whenever it's going to come out. bloodlust or something was it?

I was in the Right Track Studios in Cleveland, OHio when Trent was recording that album...
Trent was working as the building's janitor to get free recording time to record it.

The sessions for that album started every night at midnight and would go til 7am...

Trent's GF at the time was a real whore who fucked all of his band members and best friends but not Trent- Upon learning of his girl's betrayal he wrote that entire album.

The album is one of my all time favs not just because trent was a friend...but it had all the makings of a classic "lost love" angst album- very identifiable to many young kids in the 90's, with their break ups of their first loves from High School and college-

I actually helped hahahahaha the guitar riff on"Ringfinger" even though I am not credited on the album, my friend Ron Musarra is for finding all the sound samples from Clive Barker movies ...

I ripped that solo, Trent sampled it and fucked with it a bit-
Everytime I open that CD and read the liner notes it takes me back to a magical time.

I recall the very first NIN show ever in Lakewood Ohio, 1989 at the Phantasy Concert Club. The after party was at Trent's place he shared with then drummer, Chris Vrenna in OhioCity

I still have the flyer he printed up for his house party on my fridge- along with Lollapalooza memorabilia and Woodstock stuff-

You have to give credit to trnet, he told everyone that one day he'd be a big star keyboard player- and when he became that he'd say FUCK CLEVELAND and leave...he did just that!

He lived in the Sharon Tate/ Manson murder house on Cielo Dr, and now resides in New Orleans

I have seen more NIN shows than anyone you will ever meet-
then Again , i have seen more George Clinton and Funkadelic shows and Marilyn manson shows as well.
