Why do people always ask for cheap but good stuff... eg. content, hosting.

'Usually' (i'm generalising) the reasons why things are CHEAP is because they are CRAP! or there is some bodgy scammer trying to make a quick buck...

I agree 100% unless the provider has lots of volume of the product or service...

Today I purchased a cheap but good hammer.

Yeah cheap content usually equals skanky girls... of course some of us like skanky girls.. :thumbsup

Usually cheap content is very bad quality. The pics are blurred and the girls often look bad. There are a few exceptions (like bargain basement), however most cheap sets in other content stores aren't worth buying in my opinion.

theres the people that want a bargain then theres the cheap asses..either way they usually get crap

Thanks Raf1, but it's old content that we squeezed out 10 to 20 sales on and hasn't sold for the last 6 months.

On content I can speak with authority. If a $35 solo girl vibrator set cannot sell 15 times in a year it's badly shot or the girl's ugly or the guy cannot market. Then re-release it into a "Budget section" and sell it 20 times at $10. You just made yourself $725 on a set.

So why the fuck do people sell it at $5 a set?

The reason is simple, they can't hook enough clients to buy it at $35. The webmaster may not know porn from his elbow, how many bought porn before you came here, but the surfer who's prepared to fork out $30 a month for sure does.

Well, enough of them to put enough money back into site so the owner can rebuy.

Don't expect to buy Gucci at Wal-Mart. :1orglaugh
