A petition, to sig whore or not?
 

OK then lets see if it's a good thing or not.

Deliver Lensman a petition on whether you like or dislike the board now it has the sig whores.

Also post the reason for your decision so he can see the people who want it or don't want it.

Also included a vote for those who think the sig whores should be charged for posting. How much do they get paid for their signatures?

Im new here, so i dont know what it was like before.. but I voted keep it cause I thought it was pretty amazing some dude got 25g's for his sig space. :glugglug I know if that were me I wouldnt want to close it down.

Sigs are a good thing, and they fill the board with color and life :)

There's a difference between sig whores, and good posters who rent their sig space out for a fair fee. I'm all for stripping sigs of the post count whores with nothing to say, but there should be no problem having useful posters making some money/giving a company exposure. I don't think there really is a solution, but I believe companies will only pay those who can get them the right exposure for the right amount of money. There really doesn't need to be a crackdown. The real whores won't be selling their sigs a few months from now. Only a select few will be able to make some cash. :2 cents:

Yes but selling htem has meant a drop in the boards standards. People are posting any old crap just to get the signature in.

I wonder how many others do that. The people that programs are looking to target are the ones turned off by the clowns.

charly, what makes you think your opinion holds any ground. you're not even a paid advertiser here. i believe lensman could care less about your qualms with his forum and he wouldn't shed a tear if you were to stop coming here.
