My friend that I haven't seen for 6 months (A big promoter for hip hop shows that travel all over the states and canada) got somebody too call me and tell me he's in jail near here.

Supposely, he's in jail and he will call me toonite . He want me to do a 3 line call ...

Could I get in trouble for that ?

I wouldn't answer any questions that might be self incriminating and there's no reason you can't help a brother out. He probably can't get many calls so a 3 way would be helpful to him. Unless he's calling a columbian drug dealer you shouldn't be too worried unless you listen in on illegal activity but I don't think he would be arraging that shit on a jail phone unless he's totally stupid.

well then help him out, like i said he might not get much phone time or many calls and he may just want to be able to talk to two people at the same time with one call or something.

I would say just feel him out when he calls you. If he is trying to call his family for bail or trying to make multiple connections with one phone call that's one thing. However, if he asks you to call someone else then order a hit on them or something that could go very very wrong for you. Although the federales would have a hard time proving you were complicit in the act, it's not worth bringing yourself under any scrutiny either. If the call to whoever starts to go bad I would just hang up.
