It's soooo funny how the barrage of 'backpedalling broadcasting' is going on nowadays. Now all of a sudden so many right-wing talk show blowhards are saying things like " Folks if you remember, I was against this war..."

Biatch-ass Broadcasting...

I can't wait for Rush Limbaugh's blowhard diatribe today. I can predict what he'll say. Let's see if I'm right:

Limbaugh ( prediction of what he'll say about the recent Iraqi prisoner abuse allegations ).

" Folks, far as we know these so called abuses were perpetrated not by our standard military but by reservists and military subcontractors. This has nothing to do with the Bush administration and this entire debacle is orchestrated by the left who just can't stand to see a strong Republican President. I tell you the left press has this all bass ackwards! We now know that the horrid accusations of rape were done by Iraqi guards NOT American servicemen and women. That's a matter of the Iraqis against Iraqis and there's nothing we can do about it.

When all is said and done, this issue of Iraqi prisoner abuse will finally come out to be a small smattering of wannabe military reservists and unprofessional contractors who spent too much time sympathizing with the terrorist prisoners.

I'll bet you Sunday brunch that if we polled the military reservists involved we'll find they all voted for Gore or Ralph Nader. I'll also wager that the press that obtained these photos got them from Iraqi sources who probably bribed their own people in taking photos that are taken out of context just to try to thwart the upcoming re-election of George W. Bush."

Last week Rush was saying "the only reason Americans care about these incidents is because they are worried what the Arab world thinks about them. Why should we care what the Arabs think of us" (not an exact quote, but the general idea is there)

I listen just to hear what the mindset of his minions are so I know what they'll blurt out when trying to start and win an argument.

'IF' all these allegations are true and not some small isolated incident or some bizarre undermining of the Iraq offensive then this shit is gonna ruin alot of lives for decades.

Bottom line is we're gonna have to commit ourselves to finding out what went wrong where and make sure it don't happen again.

I'm still waiting to hear something else to come out. It would make sense of this shit and would explain why it all happened in the first place. If I'm right then the Bush admin isn't the guilty party nor the Army but something we all ignored and tried to push under the rug for decades. It's the only way they're gonna get outta this shit and save face.
