Late night studying
 

Geeze I was looking forward to some rest tonight, instead I find out my kid has a test tomorrow, so I ask him a few questions... he gives me some homer simpson-like answers, obviously he was supposed to study this over the holidays, and this week, which he didn't

so it looks like I will be up until 3 am studying the political landscape of post napoleon europe from the 1830's to the mid 1800's

Definately WSFTP. It has never failed me.

Oh by the way, Napoleon wore a funny hat and stuck his hand in his shirt. What a puke.

WSFTP has a tendancy to screw up images if you are uploading alot of them at one time. You will end up with some broken images.

I do however use wsftp most of the time, except when uploading alot of images, then I use cuteftp for that.

Hmmm.... I have never had WSFTP screw up any images -- except for the times that I accidentally uploaded them in ASCII and not binary -- and I've been using it since, um, 1995.

Damn. Am I really that old a pornslinger? I guess so. *sigh*

Cute FTP always pissed me off and so I call it Ugly FTP, but that's just me.

I just find that cute ftp seems to stall during uploads a lot

the wsftp I used to have, had a primitive interface and was hard to recover exactly the point of upload fail, if it died

I was told that ftp voyager punched files up relelntlessly and did not stall part way through the upload

Yeah it is kinda strange, but it has happened to me a few times in the past using wsftp pro. It only happened when I was doing uploads of about 1000 images. At first I thought it was the program so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it happened again on a different host. But it is definately still my first choice in ftp's
