Spyware [HELP]
 

Ok, this spyware/adware has been pissing me off. I have ran both adaware and spybot. I also used HiJackThis to remove any unwanted things and this still won't go away!

Maybe you have had this before?
When I search with google or yahoo my ie locks up for about 5 seconds then goes to the search page but all the searchs come up for the spyware/adware, then I click 'Page 2' and it goes to the normal search. A pop up also pops up with the searchs too, I viewed source and it had something about

Pest Patrol is AMAZING, it's free and it finds WAAAAY more crap on my system than any other program. I use Hijack This and other programs but PP is by far the best I've found so far...

You should try deleting the temp files...


Start-all programs- accessories- system tools - disk cleanup

or you can type %temp% in a browser..you want to remove any registrykey files in the temp folder

Copy and paste your results from Hijack this ... there are some things that look normal that are not... the spyware guys are getting smarter.

Try reeading his post.. he tried that already.

Give CSW shredder a try.. same people that make Hijack This made that.

If that fails.. I like Pest Patrol for my spyware killing, but it's not free.
