A week later I send you a letter containing a statement saying that your local laws will not allow me to distribute it in your comunity. Included is a check with the company name as "I love gay bear cum butt boys inc."
as reinbursment for your moneys you sent me.

The check will pass and it is in the currency you sent to me...IE:us dollors,chinese yen...and so forth.

Have I broken any laws?
The check is good but you dont want to go cash it because of the name of the company on the check...is this my problem?

I feel that, No, in the first place you cannot say weather or not I have what I told you I have and, No matter what the damn reimbursment check sayes on it, as long as the check is good,I have not broken any laws.

Yes this situation came up elsewhere and its really happening but, I got into a argument with someone that sayes that I'm wrong and that because the check sayes what it sayes that I've broken some kind of law.
And that they know for a fact that this individual does not have the product he offered in the first place.
How the hell do you know if the person does or does not have the product?!?

My guess would be if the check is valid then you have broken no laws.

If the check is not good, you would still owe the money, but probably still did not break a law since the check was only $5.

OTOH, if you mail the check and it has obscene language, then it is possible you broke the law - company name or not.
