small party means, you can very well entertain your guess less people means less effort to give each one a bump, you don't have to mingle to tons of people & eventually forget their names after the party.

Big parties are better. I wouldnt say an equal number of girls and guys though. Maybe 60-65% girls.
Theres gotta still be a ton to choose from though. If one doesnt work out, move on ;)
