How is a Porn company ran? How are employees treated?
I've always wondered how porn companies are ran and how employees are treated.
Salary + Commission? Salary or commission only? Bonuses? Perks? Benefits? I think the ultimate company would have: salary + commission bonuses, health/dental, paid vacation, perks like free parking or lunches (friday lunch or once a month lunch at resturant) What do you think? The ultimate adult company should treat their employees like Google does. We offer our employees 2 weeks paid vacation, salary and commissions (for some sales employees), lots of free lunches/dinners, opportunity to travel, relocation assistance and compensation and pretty flexible work hours.
We are now implementing a benefits package which will cover dental, optical, prescription, chiropractic, massage and whole bunch of other cool stuff. Plus we generally buy a case of beer on Friday afternoons so we can all sit on the back deck and cut loose. I like to think we are pretty generous with our employees. :) DH |

we used to go into vivid, wicked and a bunch of other big porn companies all the time when we lived in LA...the buildings are almost always crappy little warehouse style places with offices up front and editing in the middle...and honestly, they arte run just like any other bvusiness that is out there...benefits and good pay....half the time you would not even know it was a porn company, they don't even have naked girls anywhere to be seen in the fronts of the places

Higher pay is definitely a good start. Your company's progress is not dependent solely on the employers but also on the employees. That's why you should also learn to respect each one if you want them to respect and be loyal to you.
