hypothetical shaving question (plz read)
 

say your friend makes 10 sales a day with sponsor X
and he replaces all his links to that sponsor X with YOUR links to sponsor X and after 3 or so days you're not making more than 3 sales a day

does that mean that the sponsor is shaving?

How about if the surfers had bookmarked the site days ago and now came back to signup, wouldnt the cookie be still on the surfers computer who has visted that site back then?
Tho it looked very much at the time that sponsor x is shaving, what would happen if you was to look at your stats over a longer period.
