And if i cannot make an agreed upon deadline, I let them know and make it right.

I'm not naming names or ANYTHING, I just wish people could fucking stick to timeframes in agreements without forcing me to bring in a contract. I really don't feel any deal with low amounts and non-exclusive stuff really needs a contract signed, but based on past experiences I now feel like faxing contracts for $10 deals.

Just because we peddle smut does NOT mean that people have to act like children or scumbags. You'd think after my time in this biz I would have realized that people are generally a lost cause by now.

I am a straight up guy, I pay ALL my taxes to the government I'm supposed to, I stick to agreements, my word is as good as gold, and I don't "duck out" or "hide" and not answer the phone when I've done something wrong. I don't ask people paying me to "send it in cash, cause I don't want to pay taxes", or "can you paypal that to my friend's account, I think Paypal is reporting my shit to the IRS".

But I've learned it's WAYYY too much to expect that from others, especially in porn. Is it because porn is supposed to be "easy money" and that brings that mentality of person with it?

I've decided that I'm no longer doing business with anyone unless I talk on the phone first, and I can get a reference from the of someone I've dealt with before.

There are so many people that have treated me right in this biz, and I've named them before. But it's the others that get to me after a while.
