It reads and plays my CDs, but doesn't read or acknowledge my games. HELP! :helpme

Take out all the leads, then put them back. Update the drivers & firmware. If possible, plug it into a different machine and see if the same thing happens.

Other than that... these things do eventually wear out. Hopefully it's not new. :)
