The detective the other day admited that he deliberately "excised" from his report that a person witnessed laci peterson with scott peterson at the boathouse. The prosecution has always contended that the boat was a "secret" that laci didnt even know about.

So far there is no evidence. NONE. ZERO. And nothing but speculation and inuendo.

If he cheated on his wife, he's guilty of cheating on his wife.

NOW prove he murdered her.

like OJ, this guy almost certainly killed his wife.

and like OJ, he will almost certainly walk.

yeah Modesto is about 20 min from my house.... lots going on there.... Laci Peterson, Gary Condit, The yosemite hikers... not a fun town to live in... and the police botched it from day one, he'll walk for sure! The Modesto Bee [shitty paper] has been following it pretty good

I think if you are ever arrested for a crime you may or may not have committed, you would be glad there are defense attorneys that make it clear to the jury that you are innocent until PROVEN guilty.

I agree that a lot of these attorneys are scum, but the burden of proof is on the prosecution, and I would be more scared if we started convicting people without proof.

In OJ's case...there was proof. But blame the jury.

I think Scott probably did it, but I would rather he walk than get convicted without evidence.

i don't have a problem with guilty people having good attornies.

i have a problem with guys like johhnie cochran stilling claiming OJ is innocent. it is repugnant.

you don't see Robert Shapiro, F. Lee Bailey and OJ's old buddies talking about OJ's innocence, they know he's guilty, and at least they have the decency not to comment on the case.
