ive heard bad things godaddy.com does anyone know if this is true or not?

Yes it's true.. stay far away if you have domains you enjoy owning.

Yeah, they suck. Lost two domains with them.

I personally haven't had any ill experiences with GoDaddy.. but I'm still looking to move over to registerfly.com :)

I have a few sites with them without any problems but thinking of moving them in the near future. Been reading bad things about them on this board.

I've had a good experience with them so far. What company would people recommend instead?

juicy had some problem with them... I think they can lock your domain or something... Ive transfered my stuff to namecheap just in case.

I agree... I don't host with them... only purchase domains...

The only problems I've heard of involve them taking spam complaints way too seriously. They've been known to lock domains of innocent webmasters while they investigate.
