Are you serious?? I used to watch his show all the time when I was sick from school.

bummed me out when i found out the guy on PBS with the big fuzzy hair who does the painting show was dead - i knew the shows were old by the look of him but i never knew he was dead.

I actually met one of his alleged victims when I lived in Tacoma. Suffice to say, the guy didn't have anything nice to say about the frugal gourmet or "fucking fags". Supposedly he worked in the kitchen when Jeff Smith (I think that's his name) was in charge of it at the University of Puget Sound and would groom every boy he came in contact with or some such story according to this guy. Hmmm.

Jeez, I used to watch that guy all the time when I was in college and couldn't get anything else good on the TV. Had no idea he was accused of being a pedo. Pretty disturbing.

I find it funny, the teacher in Florida who molested her student (no allegations) was talked about on the board like she was the greatest teacher who ever lived and this guy is alleged to have had inappropriate contact with males and he's treated like some monster...

is he having a frugal funeral? lol Also just because he paid them off doesnt mean he did it. Once you are brought up on those charges and go to court even if you are found innocent you are guilty in the eyes of the public. I feel bad for that teacher in FL(I dont think she did it personally) ,even if she is found totally innocent her career as a teacher is done.
