What the fuck? If you want me to promote your program maybe give it a bit of effort. Tell me about it. Ask me if I promote XX niche. How much I make PPS, or if I use revshare.

Make it interesting.

And this isn't meant to keep the datinggold spamming issue alive, BUT if they hounded you to promote their problem, alot of people would of course accuse them of spamming.

This person opened the lines of communication, however lame of an attempt it was, but you MAY have inquired about more information.

This person could have hit up 15,000 people like that and probably noone would have accused them of the eighth deadly sin.

Poor salesperson perhaps, but not the worst way to go about it.

MY EDIT-After reading your header again, yes this was a BAD sales pitch. But, this person like countless others are probably worried about getting labeled a spammer. He/they could have made a better pitch, but the technique isn't all bad.

But still you're in adult sales. Be a bit aggressive. They won't sell me anything by being so passive. So they lost right there. So why not be aggressive and RISK pissing them off but risk me saying "Hmmmm... so tell me more"

Also note Brad, that I was defending them all night as well. That wasn't a slam in any way.

I can be aggressive without pissing someone off.

I'm assertive. There's a big difference, and I can count on less than one hand the number of people I've pissed off.
