What a pain in the ass.
I lost a 200gb drive that was full of client projects and data. Thank God I still have all of the masters but what a huge undertaking it is going to be to recreate these files.
I had a virus move through my network so I backed up all the needed data files prior to formatting and re-installing everything....BUT...The drive that I backed up to somehow became corrupted. Lots of person projects and intense PSD files on there as well. :( |
uh that sucks... :(
|
Damn that sucks.
U tried using some software to recover it? |
Did u check under the bed! JK..sorry about that hun!

Since when are slippers sexual? Get your mind out of the gutter, young lady! |
I lost a server and 80 gigs or so of shit a last week. Wouldn't have been a big deal if it hadn't been my main box. Still trying to recover from that and my week off for surgery.

That's brutal. I back stuff up on DVD pretty regularly, but even copying everything back over into the folder structure would be a nightmare. :(
|
yeah I had this once, lost a lot of stuff so it showed me the value of backing up weekly wich I am doing now.
Sucks though |
damn, that really sucks. sorry to hear about it.
|
I just posted this reminder the other day. :(
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=322437 Sorry to hear that bro. Hope you can salvage some of it. |
you can recover everything with a data recovery company for a few hundred bucks, if it's worth it to you.
I recovered my drive and they put it all on dvd's for me in 24 hours. I used http://www.actionfront.com/ :2 cents: |
bad luck mate, hope you get some of the stuff back
