Looks cool to me, but I'm a bit afraid with losing keys/certificates. What's your experience ?

It is good to protect secret documents and files you want no one to other then you to see anyways if you loss your windows installation you will be unable to access the files since only your windows has the random key procedure that knows how to decrypt the files.
From my personal experience its good to encrypt only very important files which should not get to the wrong hands any how.
