do you take out ref codes from sigs?
how many of you just take out the ref code so sig whores dont get credit for you signing up when you join a new sponsor?
umm not me. I just click it. Instead of copy and pasting and then erasing.
if someone does some stupid shit like "see sig" or spamjacks the thread -and- im interested ill edit out the refcode everytime.. otherwise ill click whatever with the refcode.
I usually keep it in there no matter what...
if it's YOUR link I am clicking, and I have intentions of signing up, I believe you should get credit! |
Why would you do that? Out of pure spite? :Hollering
I only take out the refcode when I see a program I want to promote that someone has spammed me by e-mail at my non-adult address, especially if more than once:Graucho
I've done it before when I want to see what a program is all about but I think the person who referred it is an idiot and them making commissions off my sales frustrates me.
Only if the post is spam, or if I really don't like the person.

The majority of webmasters will just type in the domain, rather than give the referring webmaster credit. Sad but true.
I think a company should be able to reward whoever refers it's affiliates.

Nope, I usually just sign up under whatever I click on. If it don't cost me anything why erase the code? Spead the wealth ;)

I just click it, never erase it.
