10 reasons why you shouldn't use this or that program
 

i have a philosophy regarding online adult business, and it kinda goes like this.

1. if someone or a program has to tell you they are honest they usually arn't.

2. endorsements from emloyees of a program are WORTHLESS, and companies that encourage people to post as such have no class.

3. references ARE NOT having another employee contact you from the same company. References must be people KNOWN by the person already or they are worthless. SOOOO few people GET this. Woop de fucking do billy bob uses that company, who the fuck is billy bob?

4. Everyone shaves, i don't care WHO you're talking about - some sales don't get counted - whether it's by accident or design, it happens, get over it and stop saying you don't shave.

5. Hosted galleries shouldn't redirect or install anything - those that do these tricks arn't worth doing business with. That INCLUDES geo targeting on the gallery, not the paysite link. YES - we know. Soon I may be posting names too if it keeps happening to clients of mine that use hosted galleries and buy pre-paid spots with them.

6. just cause i met you doen't mean i'm now gona be nice to you on the boards. Just cause you biught my sig doesn't mean i'm gona endorse you in my posting.

7. the hotter the sales rep - the more useless the program and the more likly they will shave you or fuck you somehow. esp those that hop into the sac with you readily - although i must admit - i DO love those programs. I'll never use them, but i LOVE them for trying....

8. if you see top company execs posting to gfy a lot then they arn't working on your acohahahaha. Think about it.

9. ccbill, epoch, and others arn't the reason the company fucked up on stats the other day and didn't count the sales- we KNOW that - duuuu.

10. You're all idiots

Well...I won't promote Playboycash for the same reasons I wouldn't promote AdultPlayersClub (see my other thread today).

How do you feel about
1) Webmasters searching for programs that offer free hosting.
2) Programs that offer free hosting.

I understand certain spots will shoot your bill skyhigh, mgp included. But wtf? How productive can a freeloading webmaster be, esp the ones who cannot pay for hosting. Certain programs like to go the extra length to gain webmasters, but what's the point when you have 100s of unproductive webmasters. The productive worth while webmasters are probably all searching for the best converting, not the programs who throw themselves out there to be whored out.

excuse my rant - just seen one too many "free hosting needed" posts :(

You know what has always annoyed me about most programs? How almost no program will carry your webmaster referral link through on anyone clicking on the "webmasters" link on a paysite you send traffic to..

Just one of the many small ways programs screw you.

Weird, I just send traffic the company that pays me the most. neat to see you don't need to care about that.

I learned this lesson the hardway. I rather have a company shave a percent upfront so that I know what I am getting into.

I stay clear from programs that claim "honesty".

Understand that I have the technical knowledge of my dogs, but is it possible to "selectively" geo target? I would think if you geo targeting domains and/or IP's then they would have to be done accross the board: the sites, galleries, webmaster sign up, etc.......???

those of you who think sleazy is far off the mark, i have news for you -- he isn't.

- dialer pop-ups on "console-free" links, for european "third world" traffic that just cannot be billed by CC, really they just don't have cards, the ongoing myth that some sponsors love so much

- little links at the bottom that lead to the site's home page with 2 clicks max, and no wm ID passed through. Support, members, 2257, and from there it goes to the home page, no WM ID

- HUGE URLs on the banners PLUS the links on the hosted galleries PLUS on the pics and movies. It's TYPE-IT-IN-ALREADY.com, remember TYPE-IT-IN-ALREADY.com, click here to go to TYPE-IT-IN-ALREADY.com (or just type it in wink wink)

- 2 or 3 cross sales PRE-checked on the signup form and really small letters. Surfer sees this, confidence is lost and so is the potential sale

not always smart when dealing with bookmark traffic. i'd rather make a dollar every month for 10 years then 2 dollars a month for 2 months and burn off my surfers
