I think he is 35, 3 years older than Shaq. He'll probably play harder than Shaq did the last 2 years, though I don't know if he'll be as good... we'll see

I would rather have Dampier too.. But this Laker team lost Shaq and added some good players in Grant, Odom and Butler... Vlade doesnt need to score.. just be a presence and pass the ball... I think we are better then we were last year as a team

there is no way vlade can fill shaq's shoes, because when shaq is playing hard he is almost unstoppable. Which is why i cant believe the Lakers just let him go to keep Kobe, I know shaq may only have a few good years left but Kobe is going to be gettin slammed up the ass by a dude for the remainder of shaq's career

It's a sad time here in Laker land. I'm still trying to get over the loss of the best chance at another title. And here they go and get someone that even play a full game let alone a whole season.:(

I agree with you. I am getting slammed all the time for saying that the Lakers will not be that bad.

They still have the most dominant guard in the game. And finally, they will be able to run with West team, get up the floor and such.

Shaq is the most dominant player ever.

This is a cool move, Vlade played for the Lakers for a while. Now it's time to finish off his career there. Sac town wasn't the place for him. :2 cents:

I think what many of your are missing is this. You are going to have Kobe who now can drive the lane and work his magic with out a 360lb statue standing in his way clogging up the center and making it hard for him to do so cause he has 2 defenders draped on him. Also you have a much more atheletic team with your starting team looking like this Divac, Kobe, Odom, Payton, Malone... With Butler, Rush, Walton, George, and Grant to come off the bench. The Lakers just became a much more solid TEAM, not just a super duo. As well as much deeper. I think many people are going to be surprised to see how well this team does. I know I am excited to watch that is for sure.

we had him when he was young . . . . was not impressed . . . . he has not gotten any younger up north
