Kerry is a hypocrite....AND an idiot.
HEINZ?????
Made in Mexico Shortly after reading the following e-mail content, I happened to look at the label of a jar of Heinz sandwich slice pickles. Yep.... Made in Mexico" Check some of your Heinz products. "Sen. John Kerry keeps talking about U.S. corporations leaving this country and setting up shop in foreign countries, taking thousands of jobs with them. He is right, because that has happened. However, he is trying to blame it on George W Bush. As far as I know, Bush has not moved one factory out of this country because he is not the owner of a single factory. That cannot be said about Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Kerry's own 32 factories in Europe and 18 in Asia and the Pacific. In addition, their company, the Heinz Company, leases (4) factories in Europe and (4) in Asia. Also, they own (27) factories in North America, some of which are in Mexico and the Caribbean. (80%) of Heinz products are made overseas. I wonder how many hundreds of American workers lost their jobs when these plants relocated in foreign countries. I also wonder if the workers in Mexico and Asia are paid the same wages and benefits as workers in the United States. Of course they're not. However, Kerry demands that other companies that relocate should pay the same benefits they did in the U.S. Why does he not demand this of the Heinz Company, since he is married to the owner? If Kerry is elected, will he and his wife close all those foreign factories and bring all those jobs back to America? Of course they won't. They're making millions off that cheap labor. Also watch for these on the Jay Leno show! And they say Bush is dumb The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country." - John F. Kerry "If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." - John F. Kerry "One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'." - John F. Kerry "I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future." - John F. Kerry "The future will be better tomorrow." - John F. Kerry "We're going to have the best educated American people in the world." - John F. Kerry "I stand by all the misstatements that I've made." - John F. Kerry "We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe." - John F. Kerry "Public speaking is very easy." - John F. Kerry "A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls." - John F. Kerry "We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur." - John F. Kerry "For NASA, space is still a high priority." - John F. Kerry "Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children." - John F. Kerry "It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it." - John F. Kerry "It's time for the human race to enter the solar system." - John F. Kerry OK Quit Laughing. This guy sounds like Al GORE |
John Kerry runs Heinz? Even his wife isn't involved in the day to day operations of the company.
|
Also...Bush and Co like to call Kerry a "Flip Flopper".
Guess who's the biggest "Flip Flopper" of them all? Yep...good 'ole GWB. http://www.independentsforkerry.org/...lip-flops.html |
He's better than the alternative. Would you prefer Dubya to get another 4 years?
|
He's still the lesser of the two evils.
|
Anyone but bush is my motto.
|
You really are desperate to find " dirt"....
FYI, there is a difference between a company that operates and sells in many countries ( such as Heinz, Kraft, Kellogg ...) and one that sells mostly in the US but outsources its work ( Dell, Citi Bank, ...) Once you figure it out, read your post again. BTW, my Heinz ketchup is Union made in Canada to be sold to Canadians, not to be reshipped to the US... Does that give you a clue .... |

However, when you live in a 28 bedrooms house that was fully paid with Heinz money (Dividends, stock options, salary to do nothing), you should make sure you check your facts before opening your mouth. That is also valid for dubya :2 cents: |

http://urbanlegends.about.com/librar...rry_quotes.htm " If some of these nitwitticisms seem familiar, it's not because you've ever heard Senator John F. Kerry utter them. With the sole exception of the first example, which is a close paraphrase of something President G.W. Bush actually said in 2000, proper credit for the majority of the regrettable statements on this list goes to former Vice-President Dan Quayle." |
(I love throwing little firecrackers among the Bush haters and watching them scurry around!) :1orglaugh

Looks like someone got owned. |
We have a free trade agreement involving Canada, the US and Mexico.
This is supposed to happen. Mexico sells the US pickles, you sell them fighter aircraft. What should be opposed is the outsourcing of IT jobs to places like India. Bush has gone on record as saying that this is a good thing..... |
What ever it is I'd still go for Kerry, more ketchup to come

Nice job with the misinformation. *yawn*

So Teresa should have abolished all her interests in the company when she married him?
BTW, the Heinz-Kerry money came from her previous husband John Heinz, a Republican senator from Pennsylvania who was killed in an auto crash in 1991. Take all those stats that were quoted earlier and put the blame where they belong...:glugglug |
What politician isnt a hypocrit and a liar? Yeah thats fucked up but at least heinz only relocated to make more money instead of starting a war for it:2 cents:
|
It's his wife's compagny not his own ...=
|
Ummm... This isn't accruate at all. Teresa Heinz does not own any factories, and she does NOT own the Heinz company, she only owns about 4% of its stock. This rumor is addressed here: http://www.snopes.com/politics/kerry/heinz.asp

nobody's perfect. deal with it.

Kerry and wife have no say in the operations of Heinz Foods. She isn't even the majority shareholder so to blame her for Heinz policy is short sighted.

I guess my point here was to show that everybody gets ALL worked up if you bring up any negative stuff about Kerry, but will happily post the most bizarre, wacked out stuff about Bush with out any reflection on how silly some of it is:2 cents:

Who do we have that is better - Bush?

idiots, white people will not pick fruit or vegetables for money,. it has not gotten that bad yet here.
mexicans still pick all the oranges in california and do so as illegal slave labor. wanna bitch about something bitch about the roots of it. white kids are lazy so are black kids, in this country they wont pick no fucking tomatoes for 10 hours a day, are you kidding? of course they get the mexicans to do it, untill you fuckers sep up and make your kids work a hard day. till then, keep driving your SUVs and enjoy the $2 a gal gas and shut up unless you want to go pick tomotates, i know i wont go pick no fucking fruits... |
You'll get it on both sides.
But some of the dirt on both of them is perfectly legit as well. It's easy enough to find your own opinion. Some sources are real slanted. Like today on CNN, they covered Bush and another white house press briefing ABOUT bush. Yet they had a reporter at a Kerry rally, and you could hear Kerry in the background, yet they were doing a story on what howard dean said. Then the anchor asked "any spin coming from the kerry campaign on it".. Now, I didnt see any one ask about "the spin" coming from Bush. Thats what I mean by slanted, lol. You have to pick your battles and look between the lines. Many times it's the reporters themselves making the "news" or sound bite in just how they ask questions. Example: "Isn't it another case of flip-flopping?" versus "Whats your stance on this issue?". Frankly, I just want the answer, not a defensive statement, so I resent leading questions on both sides. Anyway, I'm hungry.. |

Sad fact is the majority of this BB thinks a liberal administration will help the porn industry. :1orglaugh
Another fact is Kerry is going to be the next Dukakis. |

Porn prosecutions under Democrats are far lower than those under Republicans and that fact along with the great economy under Clinton is part of what built the online adult industry into a huge money maker. Bush and his justice department and his favorite Supreme Court justices all want porn to be illegal and to put porn webmasters in jail. You need to turn off Fox and start thinking for yourself, or at least look at history. A Republican administration has never been good for the adult industry or for freedom of speech. |

If you think the husband of a woman that owns part of Heinz and isn't involved at all in the day to day operations has more to do with jobs going overseas then the PRESIDENT OF THE FUCKING USA.. you have some serious mental issues. |
I usually don't throw my :2 cents: in on politics...but didn't Dan Quayle say most of that stuff? It seems remarkably familiar and I never have heard anything out of Kerry's mouth prior to the DNC.

who cares? still a lot of better than bush :321GFY
