I think that's a requirement for employment there.
|
I've never had a problem at Home Depot, but Lowes on the other hand....those fuckers piss me off...

Here we got Rona that gives great service :)
I've read soo many bad articles about Compusa .... I would never go shopping there ... neveeeeeer |
I hear ya,,,the humidity was killer today:glugglug
|
PS Thats why I got to Lowes now.:Graucho
|
I would bet it varies from store to store.... (I used to work at a HD in the paint department)
I've been in some where the service was as bad as K-mart and I've been in some where they people were very knowledgeable and friendly..... |

We got none of those here were stuck with Worst Buy, Circuity City and Compusa. The only decent places to go to are the smaller stores... |
The one here in Oakville, the people know everything. The ladies there are impressive.

|
^lol..
.. Home Depot here totally rocks. everyone there are ex construction/retired/handymen |
Home Depot is known for having shit staff out here. Lowes kicks ass in comparison. Lowes is slowly grabbing up a lot of HDs market share.

Home Depot hires help from temp agencies on a regular basis. I asked a guy where to find something one time and he told me, "I just came here from the temp agency and have no clue."
Great! What the fuck good are you then. :2 cents: |
Look at most of the workers... they inhale wood chips and paint thinner all day...Half look like Quasimoto and the others are 300LB bull dykes with full beards.
|
What .. the giant signs hanging over the aisles too complicated for you? :Graucho

Haha. I was thinking the same thing today when I was there. I think it's pointless to ask anyone for help there anymore. :(

Anyone that KNOWS something has a real job. |
when they first opened up here, they had real plumbers, and people who knew what the fuck they were talkin about. Now you cant even find anyone to answer the simplest of queries. They Fucked up a delivery for a stove I bought there, so I told them I dont want it unless its delivered when promised. Got me close to a $100 off the price:1orglaugh and it was a door crasher special:winkwink:
|
I have always bought things like wood/paint etc at the smaller places where the staff has been there forever...better service and they know what they are talking about.
HomeDepot etc. is good if you know what you want and how you have to do it. |

"I give good head, for good service" shirt again were you? :Graucho |
They had one open not to long ago. They start with people that know their shit. They then trane people to take their position problem is they never learn all of it. Then the cycle starts over again.
|
I've always gotten helped in Home Depot, but I'm a girl. I flirted my way into getting the guys there to not only measure and cut all the wood for my bar in the store, and tell me exactly what to buy, but I also talked 2 of them into coming to my place after work to build the thing with their power tools. That was fun.
|
It is impossible to get help here at Home Depot..then to find out that this little lady knows more then the dumb fuck i just hailed down after standing around for 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
