i don't think it should be a time thing, i think it should be an accomplishment thing...if you register and it takes you 3 years to build your first site and make your first sale, then your still a newb after that 3 years....

I have been in the industry over 4 1/2 years I own a well known business to business company called X2K Media and am the VP of GigaCash.
