Not to defend the murders in any way but the article said they had "ordered her to stop seeing the girl". Now it's possible there might have been something wrong with this particular girl but I would be willing to be willing to bet that homosexuality was a major issue in that household.

The grandparents probably wanted to demonstrate how proper sex was done, and instead of gouge out her own eyes, the lesbian offed 'em

My brother was best friends with these girls. They were at my dads house and him at their house all the time for years. I've met them too a couple times, seemed like good girls. Everyone here is in total shock of this, they have no idea why they did it.

This story is local news to me and the news stated they smoked weed to lure the grandparents down into the basement, as they were holy people. They didnt know the other girl was under the bed. As the grandparents were defending themselves from the granddaughter and overpowered her she called out for help and the other girl came from under the bed and attacked them. Already hurt the grandparents couldnt stop them both. Police said they were each stabbed 15 times or more.
