London is simply not suppose to be this hot
omg, time for the second cold bath of the day. I have a fan on full blast and I barely even feel it.
At this rate air conditioning will finally be standard in the next 5 years. The first unit to go for under £100 will do the trick. I am melting (best witch voice) |
welcome to global warming
|
Yes when its hot fans dont do much, AC is standard all over the US time for England to catch up:)
|
It's 60 F here in Western NY.

I decided to get stuck in with the packing and dispatching side of my main business today... big mistake. Pulling, pushing, picking, wrapping, packing, etc. After 8 hours I looked and felt as if I had been out for a walk in heavy rain. People will be receiving their shit with little puddles of sweat in the bottom of the parcel.
After getting home about half an hour ago, I just had my second shower of the day. It's not normal. I mean, us Europeans generally only wash once per week. |
*drip*
Just out of the very cool bath and back in my sweat box of an office. Even my keyboard is hot. |
just wrap acold hot towel around your head it will work and you get the bonus of looking like osama bin laden...:thumbsup

I lived in England for about a year and a half...I can't believe there's no A/C for that 2 weeks out of the years when there's actually sun! :winkwink:

Damn I couldn't live without AC.. during the day the heat doesn't bother me, but I can't go to sleep sweating.
I have central AC (old.. came with the house when I bought it) and I have a window AC in my computer room on the second floor. 3 computers in there.. it needs a little extra oomf. :1orglaugh |
I live in the coldest state in Australia. Our Island is the closest major population centre to Antarctica and the base is here too. This is the last month of winter and it is currently 8 deg C (46 deg F) at 8 A.M. During the summer it gets up to 44 deg C (111 deg F). I am looking forward to summer. :)

Global warming is a terrible thing. Airconditioning is going to be the most profitable mainstream biz nowadays.

We don't need A/C in the UK, we have regular rain to cool things down.
|
Funny, It is really cool in the Midwest US. Turned the AC off for the last three days.

I think the weather decided to come up North. Today in Scotland its a real nice day.
Gonna finish up my work and take the dog to the park :) |
it's 28 c here in bergen, norway today and damn thats hot.. problem up here is that the houses are really solid (for coping with wintertime) and nobody has A/C.. had to open all my windows, but with a road outside it's not easy to get any work done..
|
I love the heat, but if the air conditioning broke down in the house I would be miserable.
|
Cant wait till summer comes along in aus. I'm getting sick of the cold.
|
damn the weather is mad here on the continent...I'm feeling low motivated and tired...come out u stpid sun, don't hide!
