I cant believe they show commercials in movies and people arent pissed
 

I went to see Spiderman and they had fucking 10 previews for other movies, and THEN had 2 commercials, 1 for American Express, and then another for ING.

WHAT THE FUCK!? I have to pay $9.50 for a ticket, and I have to watch commercials on it?

doesn't this bug anyone else? I havne't gone to the movies in forever, i didnt know they do this now.

I hate that shit... its even worse when they do it on dvd... makes me feel violated

Thats how they pay for the movies production.

People are pissed. Enough people complained at my theatre that they are now starting the commercials before the acutal movie start time.

That's a viable revenue stream for the theatre. They get a small cut of the ticket price and survive off of the concessions. Commercials and ads on the screen beforehand bring in some nice money as well.

Still sucks that prices go up and we're actually paying to sit through ads.

I dont mind commercials as long as they don't run over the start time..if they are just playing in that boring time while your waiting for a movie to start that's fine by me.

doesnt bother me i like to watch them and can have a bit of a debit on new flicks before the film starts, grab a burger ect.

dont go cinema if shit like that bothers you.

I just try to show up like ten or fifteen minutes late unless it is a movie that will be packed, but yeah its pretty fuckin gay. 9.00 for a ticket, 5.00 for a bag of popcorn, 4.00 for a coke and then they make you sit through bullshit commercials so they can make even more off of you:feels-hot

If it werent for those commercials and paying advertisers, your ticket might have cost $10.50 :winkwink:

and then again. they make movies that are one long commercial.

They've been doing it for awhile now. Alot of people have complained but they haven't done much about it as they make alot of money from the advertisers. :2 cents:

What bugs the fuck out of me is people bring their kids to even R rated movies and expect them to keep quite! When we went to see Spidey this fucker sitting behind me had a 6yr who would not sit still or shut up! Shit get a sitter or go Block Buster....what happen to the plan of having a "No Kids" showing of certian movies for people who want to watch the movie!:mad:
