Is there a good site for that?

If you are just starting to get in this game, keep in mind that there is an entire industry of ppl/companies that spend every minute combing the list of 20K daily drops and bidding those names up to thousands on drop auction sites, $5k+,$25k+, etc. and no one will point you in the right direction. i'm out of the game now, but you can get short lists of the day at pool.com, namewinner.com, and maybe find some info/help at dnforum.com, but you need to run your own scripts, compile your own lists and pray to god you find names no one else does. lol.

but the questions you're asking are like asking SEOs their secrets. no joke. or like asking ppl how much they make. you'll get lots of dead air or misdirection.

i may start a small biz helping ppl get in the game w/ software, server, scripts, staff, support etc. because my 6month buying spree ended in July, so i'm not worried about competition. and I have great contacts at Pool.com if you're a highroller/serious. one tip: set up your own affiliate code at pool first so you can funnel the savings into more domains.

i posted some domain drop info here:

not my thread, but info/prices

I think hes looking to get into the google spam business rather than the domain selling business :)

Are you asking to see if we know or are you asking because you don't know yourself.

I thought that someone with your experience would already know!

what he said times 10... on top of that the registers are in bed with the domain grabbing sites.. So typical if a name drops from X domain register it will get picked up by a customer of X name grabbing service..

I was playing around a bit with grabbing names, but in realitly you are never going to get the good ones unless you know the game and have the money. You can however get some table scraps but most of the time digging through the lists of names arn't worth it.
:2 cents:

and the names lose their PR when they drop these days.. least every one I've ever grabbed the PR was gone the day I got it. I'm sure the SEO guys know how to bypass that but I never tried.

If I would know, I wouldn't have asked.

A better one is deleateddomains as it updates the list before that first one.

That first reply of mine, I really thought you were testing us.
Happy hunting all the same.
