People with SUPER fast cars drive below speed limit
 

Who in here hates it when you see a nice Mercedes AMG being driven by an old lady who goes about 5mph below the speed limit. Or an BMW M5 being driven by another old lady who goes the speed limit (where everybody goes about 5-6mph over). Whats the point of getting a car with 300-400horsepower, when all you need is about 100horsepower.

I'm not saying they should speed, but they should at least go the speed limit. I wonder if those cars ever reached their redline?

that makes me so mad i was on my way into seaside in new jersey last night and i saw this atleast 60 year old guy sportin this viper he was doin like 40 i would be so out all the time lol

Exactly. When you drive a nice car, many cops are just looking for a reason to pull you over. 1MPH above the speed limit should do it. Remember, speed limit = maximum, not minimum. If you ever drive a high end vehicle such as an Aston, don't be surprised when you get pulled over for jack shit. "Oh, I stopped you because you kept drifting over to the left", etc. Yeah right. :1orglaugh

Also, for those who are particularly vain, it gives them a chance to "show off" their car to retards that are impressed by that sort of thing.

If I am going slow for whatever reason and you dont like it, then pass me! If you cant pass me, make a U turn and speed at 200mph to the nearest side road and take another route to wherever the fuck you are going.

I hate when ppl expect you to drive 10 over the limit. FUCK THEM, if you wanna get a fuckin ticket and see your insurance skyrocket then go ahead but honk cause im going the speed limit or just a bit over and you'll piss me off.

What pisses me off even more than that is when someone flies out of a side road like it's the only chance they'll get (even if there's no one behind you) then switches lanes quickly to be in front of you requiring you to hit brakes to keep from running up their rear.

Yea but the day the lady will crash in front of you because she goes 5mhp faster, you will loose couple years worth of driving because of the accident you will get into ...

some people go slow because going fast has earned them a few tickets...

it still drives good and still gives you good driving expirience and its safer

And as for nice cars being targets, a good friend of mine has a Viper and he is a speed freak. Cops completely ignore him. No tickets.

One example doesnt mean shit. If you are on a 65mph highway in a Porsche going 70 and a Honda Civic going 75, which one will the cop point the radar gun at? Duh. Porsche.

Here in LA, the cops figure the nicer the car you drive the more you can afford to pay in tickets and fines. So they'll roll you for thinking about speeding.

my buddy drives a new mercedes but has 3 speeding tickets so now he drives the speed limit, thats what you might be noticing :)
