6 days to go till Athens2004! What are your expectations?
 

well, 6 days till the greatest event in the world. How many medals do you expect your country to win (if any)?

and, well, everybody in Athens are afraid of it, do you think there is a chance any terror attacks would occur?
I hope everything goes fine and the only sensations would be sports related, but the past has proven that we must consider such things as well...

there are only two certainties about the upcoming Olympics, any Olympics for that matter

1) the American TV coverage will suck ass

2)every gold medal winner will be a drug injecting pill popping cheater

mid Aug is the slowest time of the year online, if it gets much worse we'll all be sucking dick soon

I think Australia will win no more medals than they usually do. Greece will obviously win a truck load of medals.

Id say a few medals not sure on how many will be gold.

I don't see that this time.

As far terrorist attack, I seriously doubt we'll have any. You don't need Olympics to spread world panic, so why to risk it under so heavy security...


Very few athletes have been left out of the anabolics game and in pro levels almost none

I dont really get too much into the olympics. Australia will carve up again I think. Especially in the swimming. Our athletics team is shithouse.

NBC may have gotten the message. While the past couple have been slick MTV-style edited coverage mostly after the fact, this time around NBC plans around-the-clock coverage using all of it's networks (NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, Telemudo, NBC-HD) so perhaps we will get a lot more live coverage this time around. If you don't have cable or satellite your coverage will be whatever the NBC network runs, barring any local interruption.

I agree with the US basketball team folding this year.
It isnt easy playing with that much ego on the court.
