US Government becomes a Software Developer
http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/interne....ap/index.html
321 Studios closed shop, and now the United States government wants to become software developers and tell P2P software developers what to warn its customers. As if the people who use P2P don't know that if they download something that cost something in the stores and they don't pay for it, that it is illegal. I didn't see them telling the developers of (s)FTP clients and servers to do it. Funny part is, they also tell them, oh by the way we don't want you to change anything with how it works (like adding encryption so people aren't hidden from our friends RIAA), but if you can add in some pornography filters, that will be great.
