What to do when....
 

Hi!

What should I do when a company did not pay me for content which I supplied one month ago??? They are ignoring me and their business as usual. I sent them master tapes but no 2257 material. Can they use the content ?

1. Watch their websites and the second you see your content appear contact their host, billing company, etc. Inform them that the content is stolen and he has no 2257 info for it.

2. Call his wife and tell her that you have been sleeping with him for the past couple of years.

3. Make a new thread and publicly out him. Internext is coming up and its a great time to do so people need stuff to talk about around the water coolers. Keep on bumping the thread shamelessly for atleast 2-3 weeks. Then once it dies keep it in your sig and make sure you post 20-30 times a day.

4. Contact a lawyer.

5. Come over to my place, we can discuss it over a candle light dinner. :Graucho

I just might do some of that. I will wait another week maybe a miracle will happen and they pay me!

Are they actually using the content?

No they are not. At least I can´t see it on any of their sites. I received an email that the like it and I should inform them when the money shows in my account. That was 3 weeks ago!!!!!

Now you know to get payment upfront.. who are these deadbeats?

No one want´s to pay upfront these days!!! I will give the "deadbeats" another week and if I still don´t get paid then I will let all of you know who they are.
One thing that is weird is the fact that these guys really opened up. They gave me many references, all phone numbers both private and office, addresses where I should send the master copies on minidv. It all looked serious. Do you think someone who is looking to screw the other person would provide all this info???

They might not be looking to scam you exactly.. but slow payers are the next worst thing.

I can´t understand these guys! I know that from time to time someone can have a problem and it takes longer to pay but they should be honest and tell me thats its going to take longer. I call the office and the secretary just says that they are out producing!

They are transferring the money into my bank account via a wire transfer.

I tried many times but they are all scared. Everyone tells me they need to see and approve the finished product even if I sent samples, pics, etc. Maybe you know some good buyers?
