Actually I tried to find faults with the movie and i could only find one, it relied to much on people understanding honor or the mentality of a fighter/warrior.
Other than that it was actually a pretty good movie, it followed the "rules" of the other movies pretty well. You see a lot more of the aliens and predators in this movie, they are not just lurking around and flashing on screen like the aliens movies but still I did not feel they degregated the stalking style of the alien or the hunting style of the predator in any way. Most of those bad revues were probably written by 14-18 year olds who never saw most of the movies that went into this. There was no over use of CG, the director demanded this in the making of the movie, there were no cheezy visual effect, the color pallet was great and the action pretty much moved along contantly once character development was over. If you understand honor systems of warriors or you hunt you will probably enjoy it, if not then do not waste time seeing it, the "WHY DID SHE/HE DO THAT" will make you dislike it.
There is one odd question in my mind left there by the end but will not spoil it. Playing the game you know what it is, the question is why does it seem it was not detected.... guess since there was a second game, there will be a second movie!
