Why Have You Never Been To A Gay Event At The Shows?
 

Tell me your concerns about why you have never been to any of the gay events being held at the tradeshows?

We are putting several events together throughout the Las Vegas Internext show that are going to be open to all webmasters what would it take to get you to come?

As far as most str8 webmasters are concerned it is though, thats why so many of them fail when promoting the gay market, they look at it as just another str8 niche.

I've only been to one show & quite frankly was too 'shy' to go anywhere. I'm going everywhere when I'm confirmed to go to Quebec - If I make it to Vegas......you'll surely be seeing me at the gay events as long as everyone leaves my hubby alone :)

I went to one, I didnt like it. it was very clickish with little groups and since I didnt know anyone I spent a lot of time sitting alone.
Most the people I did talk to were newbies who didn't even know who the Hun was.

Maybe if there was a host there to make sure people met each other it would have been better. Id only go to another one if I knew there would be some industry leaders there who will talk.

Clickhappy the things you mention are going to be addresses at the event we throw in Las Vegas.

I'm not gay but use 2 make good money doing gay galleries. Have not submitted any kind for over 2 years .

Sold one of my sites to a guy and he was getting very few sign ups, told him try gay galleries.

He said but i like Asian girls.
Told him just try. Guess what ??? All he does now is gay movie galleries.

He's making good money. Took him 4 months before he woke up. :Graucho

actually love going to gay parties, so much better than straight ones, and if your homophobic - I feel sorry for you in missing out on some of the best male friends you will ever have. I was at the Farewell Party at Internext. It was a great party, you could hear the person talking to you and I finally was able to see some of the folks I had missed on the show floor.

The thing that struck me as funny at this particular party was there was honestly an OPEN bar. The first one of the show for me. No tickets or VIP passes. OPEN BAR.

And the dancers, bless their hearts, were totally ignored. The attendees were so busy talking and doing business they had their backs to the cuties that were dancing. The sponsors could have saved the money they paid on dancers ... but what is a party without dancing boys???:thumbsup :thumbsup

In Phoenix the straight party was over crowded no where to sit and take a load off and very difficult to get to the bar.

I walked next door to the gay party and OMG! Couches....not overcrowded...and pizza to eat...oh yeah.

I'd go in a heartbeat! Not just because we're always looking for new sponsor programs to join us and new affiliates w/ gay traffic... but because I'm always looking to hang out w/ cool people wherever they are.

The reason I haven't attended a gay event yet is simply because most of the people that I currently socialize with and/or do business with are at other events or dinners. If you ran into me and invited me, I'd probably go!

Although... that's not the most efficient way to get new people to your events :1orglaugh
