Broadband vs dial-up users (stats)
Study by Nielsen/NetRatings shows that for the first time there are more home users who subscribe to broadband than dialup services in the United States. In July there were 63 million broadband subscribers and 61.3 million dialup users which is 51% and 49% respectfuly.
In comparison with the same month last year amount of broadband users increased by 47% and dialup by 13%. In July 2003 there were only 38% home users who had broadband connection. |

I cannot beleive people are still on dialup ... here I don't know ANYBODY that still got a 56k modem on their computer ... EVERYBODY got cable modem . hell it cost like 5 $ a month more

i though there were only like 20% dialups
