0,9 million Danes
2,2 million Americans
1026 million Indians

Sorry no.. they had a lot of stats on tv last night but don't remember them all.. Nordic countries (Denmark, norway,sweden) was all pretty high ranked.. China was pretty low (at 22mill i think), Australia had nice numbers, don't remember what they where though..

Looking at continents Europe was by far the biggest taker of medals, and Africa the lowest when counting total number of medals..

Indians aren't genetically predisposed to compete with Europeans or Africans in atheltic events, except in long-distance running.
