Do you go to wakes for old friends/family that you knew awhile back but had not seen in years?

Hate going to those things.

I do to. One of my old friends who I played sports with growing up passed away and I'm not sure if I should go or not. It's been a few years since I last saw him.

I wouldn't unless one of his current firends / family would like you there for support.

I hate going there ... Always feal unconfortable with pretty much everybody.

People change ... fast

Yeah, it's tough because you can have both extremes; one that wants to see alot of old friends and family to pay respects and the other that wants it to be private with close friends and family.

I was asked to film one just last week, sick people, but hey... It paid a few bills.

yup, i have great respect for the dead.

on the other hand, i have major issues with having to visit hospitals

both funerals and wakes suck, they're morbid and a strange custom. Some say it brings closure, i'm not so sure.

I think wales, suck the spirituality and humanity from the dead... It's like getting caught on the shittet...

Yeah, Ive gone to one every year for the past 3 years. Two were close friends that past away for the dumbest reasons.
