Hello All,

First of all this is only meant as a discussion....

When the autobookmark script came out I simply had to test it.... I had to see if it was worth using....[wanted to test how powerfull it is]

We put it up on one site... it was up 2 days and it made $+500 from a sponsor that paid like a few cents per visitor...

Cashed the check and took down the script again.... I must say this was the easiest money ever made boyz & girlz....

now don't go postal on me I promise never to use it again cuz im a webmaster and I would hate someone autobookmarking me!

Some of you will say something like " its a felony" or "its illegal".. well sad 2 tell you all... maybee in the states but in most european countries this is just as legal as shopping for teletubbies....

but I hope this discusssion clarify why some people still use it.... BUT it only works until the new version of explorer http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

either they have our bookmarks or we make some cash by selling the software to them (-;

A better way to rip them of would be a freeware anti autobookmark software that keeps changing their isp's dailup # to our dailer #'s he he he...

then we can sell them software to remove the dailer #'s....

we already knew why people use it, the only

Actually Soul_Reaper, I wasn't living in Sweden until a couple of years AFTER Olof Palme got shot. I do hear he was a great man and I great politician, though. He is a legend around here. As for the tricks, hell, I'm new to this business and my unemployment check don't cover much of my expenses, so unless someone can teach me how to make some serious dough with little investment and much hard work, I don't see another way of making money but trying out a trick or two...

Come on DamageX. If you can't make money fair and square without tricks I suggest you try something else than the adult biz.

Use your imagination and creativity and try to understand your surfers. What do they want? Why should your visitors join the sites you are promoting?

and a realistic possible situation that such script can hurt someone: evidences for an employee that surfed on porn sites during office hours. Top reason even for top managers to say bye bye! I have seen non-adult pages autobookmarking adult sites...bingo!

Norton Antivirus or Norton Internet Security will alert you that a script is trying to write something to your computer and then asks if you want to disable it (which crashes windows because it stops explorer.exe), or do some other things.

Why is it that most of the sites using this script are either Russians or Child Molestors?

The auto-bookmark scripts are the reason I stopped accepting Encrypted JavaScript on any sites submitted to me. I know some counters are playing around with Encrypted JavaScript, but this kind of abuse forces me to block it completely. My bot scans sites for consoles and such, but it can't read the source of Encrypted JavaScript. Auto bookmarking is not even the worst. I saw scripts that changed people home-page.

It's the same script Hun. It has both the options to autobookmark n' to change users 1st page, but the 2nd one is most often avoided since makes the surfers real angry.

If you wan't to use autobookmarking, pop-ups, blind links etc. it's up to you, but remember that a pissed off surfer is not a horny surfer.

Anybody who posts a thousand dollar script on their site is sure to draw mass traffic. That would probably be more valuable than actually using the script.

You forget if everyone uses it it would be kind of usseless unless your site was the only site they visited.

Being first would help.

Autobookmarking is something that I would never do. It's happened to me before, and you know what? I really couldn't give a fuck. I just delete the bookmarks and reset the homepage. Easy. I don't see how people can become pissed off with this. Like I said, I wouldn't do it myself -- but some people just take things too far. I suppose it's different if kids are going to be using the computer later, but what the fuck is a guy doing surfing for porn on kids' computers?!

If you need to use a auto-bookmark script your site must suck. If it was really a good site, your visitors would bookmark it themselves. :-)

As far as the legal aspects of it go...blah blah blah..lets make a fucking law for everything.

& As far as updated versions of IE...someone will find a way around it.
