Actually the bigger a niche gets the lower the convertions get ... because there is more and more free content out there . Micro niches are always doing very good :P

I like the general amateur niche which allows the site do many different things to keep their members on board for longer. In fact you could shoot some content that would be considered bizarre or not mainstream which would keep many interested to see what you do next.
